In August of 2024, I purchased a 2024 Honda Rubicon TRXFA7 Deluxe ATV, drawn to its reliability and specific colour.
However, on February 16, 2025, after only a short ride after the first service, the ATV lost drive. It's been at the dealership ever since, disassembled and reassembled multiple times without a successful repair.
This blog, "How Honda Canada Screwed Me," is a chronicle of my frustrating experience with Honda Canada's inability to fix my ATV or offer acceptable compensation.
WHAT I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH
My intention is to bring awareness of my horrible experience dealing with Honda Canada to others about how Honda Canada suggests they will entertain possible offers compensation for my time lost and financial losses, as well as offering free 3 year extended warranty to compensate me for my frustrations of not having my ATV and concerns I have about it reliability.
So far I have not had any positive outcomes from my experience with Honda Canada, the surprising lesson I learned is that Honda ATV's are NOT as reliable as they are advertised to be. The entire experience of owning a Honda ATV has been very disappointing to say the least.
BOTTOM LINE
Never let Honda Canada bully you into thinking you have to accept only what they are only willing to do for you if you are at a loss due to their faulty product. You are the consumer and if they deliver a product that is less than satisfactory in terms of reliability, you should not just have to accept only what they are willing to do, especially if many other Honda Dealerships say it is not acceptable what they are doing.
