ON September 2nd I officially took possession of the new 2025 Rubicon 520 DCT Deluxe and all was fine until I got it home...
As I parked it I decided to see if it would have the same shifting error that the 2025 model had. I shifted into D, N, and into R and no problems... Up to drive one more time and then once I tried to shift back into N it made some clicking sounds and showed a flashing dash line where it should show the gear or "N". I know the flashing line is a code but it stopped after a few flashes and then showed a solid line so I grabbed my phone to take a video to show the dealership. It did go back into gear but a brand new machine should not be doing this!!! I was able to get a video of it cycling through the gears and the show a line where it was not able to find "N" or neutral. This should not be happening on a brand new machine!!! I know people who have had these DCT machines for almost 10 years without any issues and they are the reason I bought one in the first place!!! But these new machines have some issues that Honda needs to address because the reliability of these new machines are crap!!!
